At Intermountain Furniture Manufacturing Company, we have progressed from swinging metal hammers, holding tacks in our mouths, and hand-ripping fabrics, to fully computerized, automated cutting systems, pneumatic staple guns, and high-speed sewing machines. The future of our manufacturing process includes using computer numerical controls machinery and computer networks throughout the process. Our deliver methods have also progressed. We used to make our deliveries in railroad cars and open flat bed trucks. Today, we use our own fleet of trucks as well as common carriers.
